An African proverb counsels: ‘if you want to travel quickly, go alone; if you want to travel far, go together’. The establishment of a network of health professionals who have an interest in the art and science of QI in Africa will help us reach our destination in fine fettle. AFRIQHER aims to be that network. We aim to provide a platform for colleagues to share ideas and showcase quality improvement projects. We also aim to establish regional communities of learning within the network.
